The home owners, along with Gardner/Fox interior designer Susan Gracki, continue to toss around design concepts for the floor medallion that will be at the front entry.
The following image may give you a better idea of what they are trying to achieve.

For those of you less interested in wires and pipes, here are some finish samples to ooooh and aaaah over.

(1) Kitchen Cabinets, Ceiling Medallions: Lyptus wood with espresso stain.  (2) Walls, Ceiling: Venetian plaster (imported from Italy). (3) Entry, Dining, Kitchen Stone Floor: Scabos Travertine installed in a Roman pattern.  (4) Library, Bedrooms, Living Room Hall Floor: Oak with cocoa stain.  (5) Kitchen backsplash tile inked and etched travertine Gianni.  (6) European green marble kitchen countertops
